Tom Cruise’s Stealth Security Team At The NY Premiere
The Mission Impossible 7 star reportedly brought his team of security to the New York Premiere. All 19 members of the actor’s security team were dressed so as to not draw a lot of attention and operated smoothly around the red carpet. It seemed like Ethan Hunt needed his own team on top of the protection that was provided by the studio on the carpet to ensure safety.
The Top Gun star certainly enjoyed the premiere night in New York posing for pictures and signing autographs for fans. The star cast was also present at the premiere at the Lincoln Theatre. The cast present at the premiere included Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, Vanessa Kirby, Cary Elwes, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Shea Wigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Henry Czerny.
Tom Cruise also expressed his gratitude towards the fans who attended the New York premiere via a tweet which read,
“Thank you to everyone who came out to the New York premiere! It was great to celebrate Mission: Impossible with the fans and so much of our amazing cast.”

Tom Cruise Talks About Filming Mission Impossible 7
It is well-known that Cruise’s MI7 faced a lot of challenges while completing the shooting of the film. The shooting was halted several times due to COVID-19 which delayed the production and pushed the release dates. Despite all the challenges, Tom Cruise and the cast and crew finished the movie and are ready to share the project with the world. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One hit theatres worldwide on July 12, 2023.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cruise opened up about the challenges and how special the movie is to him.
“We talked about it. We dreamed about it. It’s very, very special. On Top Gun: Maverick, they kept pushing the movie and pushing the movie, and for [McQuarrie] and I, this is such an ambitious movie. And it was a very challenging film to produce, and then everything happened, and it was even more challenging. So to have this response…is very, very special.”
While several big Hollywood movies have failed to perform well on the big screen yet, Tom Cruise is not worried about his movie’s performance at all. He wishes to entertain his audience in any way he can and for as long as he can.
“I’m just going to make the best films that I can make, and I want them all to perform well, and I want all of the other films to perform well.”
“I think about a movie in terms of the quality and longevity, I invest everything in it. So, really, my job is just to try to make the best film I possibly can to entertain the audience for that particular genre.”
Cruise’s enthusiasm for the big screen is certainly contagious and he also expressed his intentions to enjoy Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Barbie, and Oppenheimer in the theatres. He shared pictures of himself and John McQuarrie posing in front of each of these movies with their tickets. Cruise also said that he will watch Oppenheimer on Friday and Barbie on Saturday on their opening weekend.
