Buzz and Woody are back with another quest in Toy Story 4. After all, it’s never too old to relive your childhood days. It’s nine years since Andy left for college and it’s time to explore his toy box once again.
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Sheriff Woody are out to find the love of Woody’s life. It’s wasn’t sure before it there would be another Toy Story. John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Disney said,
We made a pinky promise to each other that we would not make another Toy Story unless we found a story that was worthy.

The movie is set to release in both the US and the UK on 21 June 2019. Since it is not too far away, you wouldn’t have to wait long for it. You can also avoid getting any spoilers before the movie’s release.
Originally, the movie was to release in June 2017. However, when Will McCormack and Rashida Jones stepped back from their screenwriting gig, it took a little longer.

What was the plot of Toy Story 3?
Toy Story 3 saw Andy leaving for college. As a result, his mother decides to donate all of his toys to a day care center.
Woody and his friends had another adventurous journey dealing with a hyperactive toddler and a monstrous bear there. Finally, all the toys end up with Bonny Anderson and find another purpose in life.
What to expect in Toy Story 4?
Between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3, Woody and his romantic interest Bo Peep got separated. Toy Story 4 will see Woody trying to find her back with his buddy Lightyear’s help.
This part is going to be a standalone as it is half love story and half adventure, unlike the rest. John Lasseter said that his wife Nancy was his inspiration for this part. Bo Peep will be a strong character with a rich backstory in this movie. The official synopsis of the movie reads,
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Is Toy Story 4 the last part?
Sadly, Toy Story 4 is going to be the last movie for the voice cast. A picture was shared by Tom Hanks delivering the final line of the movie. It was really emotional for everyone.

Who will be there in the cast?
We have some great news for you regarding this! Majority of the original cast will be back in Toy Story 4. Tim Allen and Tom Hanks will reprise the role of Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody. The two were really excited for the movie even before it was confirmed.
Bo Peep will be voiced by Annie Potts along with Laurie Metcalf (Mrs Davis), Joan Cusack (Jessie), Bonnie Hunt (Dolly), Jeff Garlin (Buttercup) and Michael Keaton (Ken).
