Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has got people curious. Most recently we have come across really enjoyable YouTube car reviews given by the Throttle House. Thomas and James, the hosts, share great chemistry and it reminds us of the best years of early Top Gear.
While Thomas is Canadian, James is British which makes their combined opinions on cars as you might expect, and especially when we are talking about the trucks.
Toyota 4Runner vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: What’s better?
The video here, has Thomas and James doing a review of a couple of off the road cars, which are a Toyota 4Runner and Jeep Rubicon. Beginning on a hillside where it snows often, the superior tires of Jeep outperforms Toyota 4Runner, when its about climbing with your vehicle.
But that doesn’t mean Toyota 4Runner is bad, no. It’s a really impressive performer, and for James who has grown outside London, it’s a new experience which hooks him up completely.
Jeep Wrangler has a better interior than Toyota 4Runner
Looking at the interior of the two trucks, it was surprising to find out that Jeep had a much better interior than Toyota. While Toyota 4Runner’s interior looks absolutely comfortable, the little infotainment screen, lack of quality and dull materials may turn off some buyers, if we look at the price of the truck, which is somewhat around $50 thousand, as per the video.
Meanwhile, the interior of Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, it looks equally comfortable and seems like a better place… until the vehicles are taken on road by Thomas and James.
Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: What’s better on Road?
While driving, Wrangler seemed similar to a Jeep, with a lot of wind noise, rattles, and squeaks. This is probably due to a lack in refinement, but the unique dynamics of driving in Jeep Wrangler made it an altogether fun experience for Thomas. Although these may fade with time, Wrangler has various charms to get in buyers.
On the other hand, James drove the Toyota 4Runner, which looks smooth and perfect on the street. Toyota 4Runner went really quiet without any noises, so all those buyers who are searching for the joys of both the worlds, Toyota 4Runner is probably the best choice around. Jeep, however, may suffice for many others.
