Traktor Pro 3 has just launched a brand new upgrade to the existing version, available for updating now. Traktor Pro 3 is however, a paid upgrade. All the previous users who are using the Traktor Pro 2 will have to pay $49 for the upgrade. New users will have to pay $99.
Let’s get into what’s new in this version. The UI has been redesigned. Users will notice that just as the software is starting up, the UI is even darker than before. The new UI definitely stands out when it is being used in darker environments. Users will now have the access to nine dual-pole different Mixer FX hence allowing them to dive in and start creating innovative mixes right-away The nine dual pole Mixer settings are Noise, Time Gater, Reverb, Dual Delay, Flanger, Dotted Delay, Crush, Barber Pole, and Filter.
This version adds a new audio engine. The software will feature a new time stretching algorithm which will provide a completely different experience of track mixing, which is claimed to be much simpler than before.
Native Instruments have now licensed the latest version of zplane’s élastiquePro V3 pitch shifting and time-stretching engine.Traktor Scratch is now included in Traktor Pro 3, right out of the box. Meaning that DVS DJs using timecode vinyl can now have an access to a soundcard of their choice. The tried and tested Traktor Scratch Certified mixers are also there.
A demo option has been rolled out so that everyone can get their hands on the basics of the software. This will help the users to make the decision that whether they should upgrade or not. The demo software is free just for the first 30 minutes. Just half an hour to decide whether you should invest your money in it or not.
