Amber Heard’s Twitter account is said to have been turned off after Elon Musk took over the social media platform recently.
Forbes says Musk is worth more than $200 billion, and he finally finished buying the social media platform in late October. He had started the process back in the spring.
So far, the richest person in the world has said that Twitter will go through a lot of big changes, including getting rid of its board of directors, firing its top executives, bringing in Tesla engineers to look at its code, and even changing the way it verifies accounts, FOX Business reported.
The father of eight has spoken out many times in favor of free speech, and he has said more than once that he would try to get Twitter to move in that direction.
Now, Newsweek says that Heard’s Twitter account is no longer being used.
When YouTuber Matthew Lewis, also known as “That Umbrella Guy,” first saw it, he tweeted on Wednesday: “Amber Heard has deleted her Twitter.”

It’s not clear if, when, or why Heard deactivated her account or what the reasons were.
NBC News says that Toni Braxton, Shonda Rhimes, and retired wrestler Mick Foley are among the other famous people who have left the platform in the past week, along with Aquaman actress Amber Heard.
Heard, who is 36, was in a relationship with Musk from 2016 to 2018. This was after she broke up with actor Johnny Depp in a very bad way. Because of this, some Twitter users tried to guess why Heard herself might have deleted her account.
Morgan Tremaine, who used to work for TMZ and was a key witness in Depp’s famous libel case against Heard, wrote: “Hmm looks like someone didn’t want their ex-boyfriend to have access to their account and DMs.”

But another user said that Musk would probably still be able to get into Heard’s account. “What she doesn’t realize is that deleted accounts can stay on the server. Usually not a problem for someone to wipe their history. Platforms don’t allow access to their back ups. Unless you OWN that platform, then you can read those DM’s to see if a person had been lying to you.”

Well, it looks like Twitter users are in for some big changes, and more and more people are leaving the platform since Musk took it over. Only time will show if they are good for netizens or not.
