Who is Tyla Ochoa?
Tyla Ochoa was born on February 8, 2003, to Jodi and Robert Ochoa. She attended La Costa Canyon High School in Encinitas, California, and served as the team’s MVP defender and captain. She helped lead her team to victory in the CIF Championships and was recognized as the player of the game on five occasions.
Tyla was also chosen as captain of the San Diego Surf Club for four consecutive years, during which the team won the Surf Cup Championship six times. In 2019, she achieved a national ranking of third place and holds the school record for the 4×100 relay.
