Early Life
Tyler Jordon Blackburn was born on October 12, 1986, in Burbank, California. He has three younger brothers and an older sister. When he was 10 years old, he had a benign bone tumor removed from his left shoulder, leaving a 4-inch scar.

In 2004, Blackburn’s career as a performer took off when he joined the cast of Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous. The following year, he played a teacher in the short film The Doers of Coming Deeds. Then, in 2008, he made a brief appearance in the movie Next of Kin.
In 2009, Tyler Blackburn appeared in both Cold Case and Rockville CA, a web series created by Josh Schwartz. The following year, he had roles on Days of Our Lives and Gigantic, as well as a part in the independent movie Peach Plum Pear.

“I identify as queer and have been bisexual since I was a teenager. I just want to feel powerful in my own skin, and my own mind, and in my own heart.”
