He began filming in July 1996 and made his debut on the series in the same month.

Christopher tied the knot with Brienne Pedigo on September 27, 2008, and their son, Greysun James, was born in 2009. In 2015, Tyler and Brienne had a daughter together.
Cause of Death
Sadly, on October 31, 2023, at the age of 50, Tyler Christopher passed away. Throughout his life, he openly shared his battles with alcoholism and bipolar disorder.
The Medical Examiner’s Office stated that the reason for the death of the former General Hospital actor was positional asphyxia caused by acute alcohol intoxication. They also noted that his death may have been influenced by coronary artery atherosclerosis, a condition in which plaque accumulates in the arteries.
