Khabib Nurmagomedov has had a done-it-all won-it-all sort of a career so far. However, there are three top names in the UFC Lightweight roster that even The Eagle is yet to face! These are Cowboy Cerrone, Tony Ferguson and Georges St-Pierre. Here’s a closer look at how these fights would pan out and a look at if these fights will ever happen.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Cowboy Cerrone
A match between Khabib vs Cerrone would sure be an interesting watch, but it would be very predictable. The Cowboy is a UFC veteran in his own right, but given that he couldn’t even last against Justin Gaethje, a fight against Khabib is unimaginable as he has now moved too far down the pecking order. Even if we get Cowboy vs Khabib, it would most likely be a very one-sided match in Khabib’s favor.
The UFC needs to book Tony vs Khabib and simultaneously start a LW tourney to determine Khabibs next opponent.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson
Now this is a match that was planned – and even announced – four times in the past. Fans have been clamoring for another shot at setting this fight up and hopefully, we will get Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson at UFC 245 or UFC 246, a fight that will bring together two of the biggest names in UFC’s lightweight division for the first time ever! Khabib’s streak is at a genuine risk against Tony.
Anyone else hoping Tony Ferguson has to pull out so they can book Khabib vs GSP?#ufc

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs George St-Pierre (GSP)
A dream match! Khabib vs GSP was also planned a couple of times in the past but couldn’t take place due to various reasons, mostly being GSP’s health. Now that he has been medically cleared (but retired), the only motivation for him to come back for one last fight would be if Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Georges St-Pierre actually happens! It is still a long shot, but we can hope!
