Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov is a rematch that we are all waiting for. However, as of this writing, there is no confirmation if the two will ever face off again. For all we know, McGregor’s status is quite ambiguous as well, as he is ‘retired’ at the moment.

However, if this match does take place, McGregor has an advantage over his opponent. This is as per Artem Lobov, a close aide of McGregor, who was recently in the news for winning the BKFC 6 main event against Paulie Malignaggi.
Lobov Claims McGregor Will Strike Back
Artem Lobov has been a close friend of McGregor for quite a long time. He has seen McGregor go through ups and downs in the past – and reminded everyone that Conor McGregor had faced tough situations in the past too. He brought up the fight against Nate Diaz where the Irishman lost – but won the rematch five months later.
He said that McGregor vs Khabib II would require McGregor ‘going back to the drawing board’ and figuring out what went wrong in the first match.
When Can We Expect Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov II?
While Khabib faces off against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, McGregor is yet to make his return to the Octagon. However, he has hinted that he will be back. Dana White too has commented that he expects McGregor to return to the UFC by late 2019. We hope a Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch by mid-2020.
