Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway sounds like a thing of the past! A match that took place six years ago where McGregor defeated his opponent at UFC Fight Night 26. However, it seems that this old rivalry has re-surfaced over social media! Holloway took shots at McGregor over the bottle cap challenge that has been trending these days. This has prompted a spat of words on Twitter and we might just get to see a fight between the two.
McGregor vs Holloway to Soon Take Place?
Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway started off over the bottle cap challenger where the latter believes his video is way better. McGregor, who kicked off the cap of his Proper No. Twelve brand of Whiskey has since challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr. to do it as well.
UFC featherweight champion @BlessedMMA weighs in on Conor McGregor’s #BottleCapChallenge video:

Holloway, however, believes that his video is much better. He pointed out that his cap kept spinning and spinning while McGregor’s flew right off.
He taunted the Irishman by saying that “some people win championship belts, some people defend them.” This is a shade on how McGregor was a two-title holder in the UFC and didn’t defend them while Holloway was a fighting champion.
