The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is where UFC 239 was being held last night. While the main event saw Jon Jones defeat Thiago Santos, the highlight of the night was the verbal altercation between the recently returned Nate Diaz vs Khabib Nurmagomedov which might as well have taken an ugly turn had the two not been separated on time. This happened near the end of the preliminary card.

UFC President Dana White addressed this in his post-UFC 239 press conference. He revealed that Diaz left after the Mendelez fight but many believe he was escorted out of the arena by security.
Nate Diaz vs Khabib Nurmagomedov Being Set Up?
Nate Diaz, as well as Khabib Nurmagomedov, are among the biggest names in UFC. Both men are respected and feared by their opponents and are larger than life personalities. Diaz and Khabib are known to have a history – considering that the two had been involved in an altercation in 2015 as well, during a World Series of Fighting event.
While the 2015 incident involved punches being thrown, thankfully the UFC 239 incident simply ended in a verbal altercation. But is this leading towards a match between Nate Diaz vs Khabib Nurmagomedov in the Octagon? We’ll find out soon!

Will this Delay Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov Rematch?
While we don’t know for sure what Khabib’s plans are after the Dustin Poirier vs Khabib Nurmagomedov match at UFC 242, the Russian is expected to face off some new foes and Nate Diaz might just be the next name on the card. Sorry, McGregor fans, you’ll have to wait longer!
