Conor McGregor, one of the most talented yet one of the most controversial superstars in the world of UFC, is about to make his UFC return. However, no one knows when! Rumors of a McGregor return have been making rounds ever since the Irishman’s ban period expired. He hasn’t shown up yet and doesn’t even have an opponent so far.
It now appears that McGregor won’t even fight in 2019! Let us take a closer look at why!
I fed you to the canvas in 90 seconds bro.
You should have spoke my name with a bit more respect in that build up. “McGregor’s not next”
Motherfucker, it’s McGregor always!
McGregor is the goal! Always!
Say that now and I’ll think about it.#GoneIn90seconds #NicCage #AJolie— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 10, 2019
When Will Conor McGregor Return?
One of the biggest reasons why we expect McGregor will not be appearing in the UFC in 2019 is because he is likely to face off against old boxing rival Floyd “The Money” Mayweather in a Japanese TV Show on New Year’s Eve. The two won’t engage in boxing, but in other physical activities that test their strength, stamina, etc.
In addition to that, McGregor is also busy with his businesses of late. His Irish whiskey is doing really well in the overseas markets, particularly in the US. Hence, it is unlikely to see McGregor back inside the Octagon anytime before 2020.
Have a blessed day everybody ❤️

McGregor’s Next Opponent?
McGregor needs an opponent and at the moment everyone is busy! Diaz is facing Masvidal, Khabib is likely to face Tony Ferguson, Gaethje is facing Cowboy Cerrone. That leaves us with Poirier and Maxwell who are looking for opponents – it will be interesting to see if Conor McGregor does decide to face one of them.
