Nearly 15 companies had a chance to win $25000 in the event called Tech Crunch Startup Battlefield Africa titled Africa’s Favorite Startup.
M-Scan is the winner which is from Uganda involved in developing the Mobile portable ultrasound devices. Really the winning team has impresses the judges and proved that they are capable of making more affordable medical devices in the African country.
The runner up of the event was Bettr and the team involves in an experience of virtual banking. They too are potential to make this banking service reach millions of Africans who are unaware of this.
There were nearly hundred entries and out of these hundred they are the top performers. To name few, Apollo agriculture works in machine learning, Sudpay is involved in tax collection system which is in digital form, Labtech tests the urine to find out the UTIs.
