Due to the fact that a mother in Utah who is 56 years old is carrying her son’s child, the family will undoubtedly have an interesting tale to tell their newest member.
You read that correctly; 56-year-old Nancy Hauck volunteered to carry her son Jeff and his wife Cambria’s 5th child, a girl. The baby will be their fifth child overall. After having a hysterectomy to save her life, Cambria is unable to have children because she cannot carry a pregnancy to term.
In spite of the fact that Jeff and Cambria already have two sets of identical twins, they expressed interest in expanding their family, and grandma offered to carry their third child in her womb.
However, Nancy did express some concern about carrying a baby at her age, but after the doctors gave her the go-ahead, she moved quickly in order to have the baby before she started experiencing menopause. Since Nancy’s last pregnancy, which occurred 26 years ago, a lot of time has passed.
In an interview with SWNS, Jeff stated, “I felt grateful to have such a selfless and loving mom that was willing to make that kind of sacrifice for my family … having experienced over four years of infertility treatments, I knew how complicated the process can be and doubted that it was possible for her to carry a baby for us, but I was very moved that she would even offer.”
