The OnePlus 7 ‘s company from the same name made its mark on the US region with the release of OnePlus 6T with exclusive to T-mobile carrier network. But it’s about to change with the newly launched OnePlus 7 series. This phone company was in the top 5 OEM premium segment sold in the US last year.
It had opened the door for various new opportunities for OnePlus 7 which will be the first 5G phone from the company. Both the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro will have a 5G variant. Recent job openings at OnePlus are hinting that the smartphone brand is going to tie up with other US carriers, especially Verizon network.
Verizon OnePlus Tie-up
Since OnePlus is entering the 5G domain, it will necessarily tie up with all the 5G network providers for better sales. There are a number of new job openings at OnePlus related to different carrier management positions. Title for the current opening is ‘Senior Technical Account Manager – Verizon’.

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, has already made a statement regarding their collaboration with carriers other than T-Mobile for OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7.
“We’re not against having discussions with other carriers in looking toward the future with what’s possible. We’re open and welcoming other carriers such as Verizon and Sprint across the US.”
The company has bigger plans for expanding the brand all over the world. Not just Verizon, OnePlus is also in contact with Sprint network and AT&T in the US region. In fact, the 7 and 7 Pro has already tied up across the European region with EE operator.
Verizon OnePlus 7 Release Date
Currently, OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are only available only at T-mobile stores in the US region. The makers of the phone are trying hard to close the deal with Verizon. As of now, there is no fixed date yet but given OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are released on 14th May 2019, it will be finished soon.
OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro both have the hardware to support Verizon Wireless network. If everything goes right, Verizon’s OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro 5G phones will be available in the US market before the end of July 2019.
