In the United States’ Grand Prix F1 championship, Sebastian Vettel was pushed back to 6th place. One common question that peeped in everyone’s mind was “Should Vettel have been more aggressive and moved on ahead of Max Verstappen?” at the match in Suzuka.
During the 8th laps in the Japanese Grand Prix championship, Vettel planned and tried to move ahead against Verstappen. He made a small attempt to squeeze down the inner edge of the Dutchman’s Red Bull into the Spoon corner. But eventually, this pair collided when Verstappen tried to escape from the inner edge. Vettel was badly hit and was pushed aside into the run-off area. Later, he spent the entire afternoon to the track and climb up high in the table.
This German-driver said that he would opt for a win or burst approach to win this weekend’s Championship title. Vettel added that he is a quite few points behind others and have to focus on the winning moment.
When enquired about his strategy in an interview, Vettel said that he would always try to chase and win the title. As his chance of winning the title is shrinking, they said Vettel has to be more aggressive in order to win the Championship title. Also, Vettel needs to identify the right balance, and of course one must try to perform something really silly.
Vettel continued saying that the approach that he implements is similar but based on the match one has to take a bit of risk. This would help him to manage the gap that distances him from the championship.
When looking back on all the recent races that were a part of the Championship, Vettel reported that it was clearly visible that Mercedes had been ahead of him.
