This isn’t the first time that Barrymore has encouraged people to enjoy the rain. She posted a video with damp hair in May. “If it’s raining anywhere you are, just run out in the rain. Don’t miss the opportunity.”
She rose to fame for her role in E.T. She was 7 years old at the time. She relapsed at 13 years old after battling with alcohol and drug addiction when she was 12.
Many people are sharing how happy they are that the video makes them happy, as she has been open about her childhood struggles many times.
In her 2015 interview with the Guardian, the mom of two said that her 14-year-antique self imagined having a happy life at the age of 40 notwithstanding all her hard existence reviews.
“I was so scared of not knowing where I was going. I really had a fear that I was going to die at 25,” Barrymore disclosed. She always maintained that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel even when life got hard.
“I never went all the way into darkness. There were so many things I could have done that would have pushed me over the edge and I just knew not to go there,” she added.
