The final episode of Season 2 concluded with a neat Thorfinn with a clean-shaved face embarking on a journey with Einar.
The Eastern Expedition Arc, which spans Chapters 100 to 166, may be adapted for Vinland Saga Season 3. The anime series has covered the War Arc in its first season, which has the first 55 chapters, and the Slave Arc in its second season, which has chapters 55-90 covered from the manga series.

With that being said, Vinland Saga will surely return for Season 3, although no official has been made yet on the release date. The first season of Vinland Saga was released way back in 2019. Not until the 2022 Vinland Saga Second Season was announced. We can assume, Season 3 may not premiere until 2025.
