Wasteland 3 maps will get bigger and better as compared to the previous titles and fans are very excited for the upgrades. The world map for Colorado in Wasteland 3 will be much larger than Arizona map in Wasteland 2. The story and character in “Wasteland 3” will also be much denser and the gameplay will have better exploring features.

Brian Fargo, InXile studio head shared the motives behind the gameplay and map changes. The gaming studio wants Wasteland 3 players to wander in the Wasteland and take new challenges and missions. The content should not be repetitive and players should be able to experience new things. Wasteland 3 will also feature different types of enemies that will keep changing through the end.

Wasteland 3 game was originally set to launch on May 29 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. But the title has been shifted by three months and Wasteland 3 new release date is August 28, 2020. Fargo explained that the reason behind the delay of Wasteland 3 is the coronavirus pandemic. The safety of InXile Studios employees is most important and which is everyone is told to work from home.

But it has created several production issues in Wasteland 3 production and the game launch has been postponed for three months. But the delay has a silver lining, Wasteland 3 Beta will get more time for feedback suggestions, optimization, polishing and refinements, meaning an overall better gameplay experience.
