This year Cricket World Cup Final will be aired for free on Sky if England qualifies for the match. The team has already made their place in the semi-finals after defeating New Zealand in Durham’s final group match.

England is likely to face India in the semi-final on Thursday. If England clears the semis, then the final match will be free-to-air on Sky. The finals are set to take place on 14 July at Lord’s.

Stephen Van Rooyen, the chief executive of Sky UK and Ireland, confirmed the news with the announcement. He said that cricket is one of the most exciting and biggest sporting events. The network would be proud to broadcast a home Cricket World Cup.
