Its all “Glory Glory Hallelujah” for Manchester United’s interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. In his very first match, he led Man United to an impressive 5-1 victory over Cardiff City.
This was without the doubt the best performance of ManU this season. And it came just in their first match after sacking off Jose Mourinho.
Wayne Rooney, the club top goal scorer also had his dig on the match. Rooney was providing his analysis of the match for BT Sport and he gave out some remarks on their former manager Jose Mourinho.
Rooney said that Mourinho was not someone who would like the team to pump up with the flow. Jose Mourinho was kind of a man who wanted the team to just lead by one goal and then hang on to the result.
Rooney said that he has witnessed some extraordinary game by their forwards which he never witnessed in Mourinho’s regime. Rooney said it clearly that the decision to sack Jose Mourinho was the “right call” by the club.
