One week after having a heart attack, Damar Hamlin was released from the hospital. Fans are glad to hear that the Buffalo Bills star is getting better. Damar Hamlin is no longer getting care at the facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Last week, Damar Hamlin, who is 24 years old, had a heart attack on the field and had to be revived there.
The NFL player was then taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Damar Hamlin was released today after being treated there. Doctors who have been following the athlete’s case say that he will continue to get better in a hospital in Buffalo.

as he took to Twitter.
Watching the world come together around me on Sunday was truly an amazing feeling. The same love you all have shown me is the same love that I plan to put back into the world n more. Bigger than football!

Damar Hamlin had fallen down while trying to tackle Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, which shocked his teammates and the crowd. He got care at the scene for more than 30 minutes before he was taken to the hospital. Damar Hamlin was first in the ICU, where he was put on a machine to help him breathe.

Damar also tweeted,
Grateful for the awesome care I received at UCMC. Happy to be back in Buffalo. The docs and nurses at Buffalo General have already made me feel at home!
The athlete has also been telling fans what’s going on since he or she has been able to talk again in the past week. His fans, meanwhile, showed him endless support and prayed for him to get better.
