Michael Galeotti was born on August 28th, 1984 in Manchester, Missouri, USA. His father, Mike Galeotti, was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and his mother’s name was Sheila. Michael had an Italian-American heritage and was raised in a Christian household.
Galeotti had a unique gift for music from a young age and was known for his prowess in playing the keyboard and guitar. He followed his dream to Los Angeles, where he joined different bands and created a musical style of his own that combined rock and pop elements. Career
Michael started in show business at a very early age, as he was the main character in the Disney Channel series, The Jersey, which first aired in 1999. As he got older, he devoted himself completely to music.
In 2004, Enation, an independent rock group, added Michael Galeotti to their musical line-up as a pianist. The Jackson and Lee brothers, Jonathan and Richard, were already part of the band; as well as Daniel Sweatt and Amber Sweeney.
Despite the brief length of their time together as Enation, the band from Battleground, Washington managed to become quite successful in the indie rock scene. This success prompted the group to move to Nashville, Tennessee.
In 2008, the indie rock band received great attention with the release of their album, World In-Flight. The record was a major success, so much so that one of its songs was featured in the fifth season finale of One Tree Hill. Among the most popular songs on the album, Feel This, was included in the show’s soundtrack. This was a big break for the group and the album turned out to be a great hit.
Galeotti concluded his seven-year stint with Enation in 2011 and subsequently joined the family business, Galeotti’s Wine Cellar.

Michael Galeotti and Bethany Joy Lenz first met in December 2005, and soon after they began seeing each other. Their relationship progressed quickly and they tied the knot on December 31st of that same year. The ceremony took place in an apple orchard in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The couple also welcomed a baby girl named Maria Rose Galeotti on February 23, 2011. She is currently 12 years old as of 2023.
After being together for six years, the couple’s bond had started to weaken. Galeotti’s drinking habit became a real issue, leading to a series of arrests as a result of his aggressive behavior.
Bethany Joy Lenz and Galeotti eventually decided to go their separate ways due to the latter’s struggle with drinking. The two officially ended their marriage in 2012 but remained on friendly terms for their daughter’s sake.
Following her divorce, Bethany Joy Lenz was granted full custody of her child and decided to make a permanent move to Los Angeles, California.
Michael Galeotti’s Cause of Death
Gaelotti was plagued by various health issues in the days leading up to his death. He had gone to the hospital just days before he died and was diagnosed with hypertension, diverticulitis, and hypercholesterolemia. He was kept in the hospital, but eventually released and sent back home.
Not long after, no one had any luck reaching out to Gaelotti on the phone, and he stayed in his Glendale residence. Due to this, a friend went to check up on him, only to find that Gaelotti had passed away in his home on January 11, 2016, when he was 31.
After a postmortem examination, it was revealed that no illegal drugs, such as narcotics, were present in the deceased’s system. The reason for his passing was concluded to be atherosclerotic coronary heart disease.
Bethany Joy Lenz released a public statement expressing her sorrow at the death of her former mate, Gaelotti. She painted him as a kind-hearted, gifted musician who was fervent in his love for music and art.
