WhatsApp has been known for its clean and simple UI, where there is only one default mode. There are many users who use dark themes on their phones, while a lot of Apps have dark mode feature, WhatsApp seems to be lacking it.
Dark mode feature is basically having black color as the primary background. Many Apps provide a dark mode, enabling which turns everything black and darker at night. It is good for eyes, saves us from the bright glare. Along with that it also saves our phone battery.

Look like the developers at WhatsApp has finally responded to fan requests. WABetaInfo, a popular beta and alpha App analyzer shared this good news on Twitter.
According to them, WhatsApp is testing out dark mode feature on beta users. To general users, it is not available currently an will be released in the future.
How to turn on WhatsApp Dark Mode in your phone?
For the users who can’t wait till WhatsApp dark mode update is available to them, there are some other options. Doing so won’t have the original effect, but our eyes will have less strain looking at the screen.
There are many dark themes and third party available on the App Store, which can make WhatsApp go black. It depends on user preference, not everyone like using installing extra Apps.
One simple solution is to change the WhatsApp Wallpaper to a dark black photo. It won’t require any other Apps and is an inbuilt feature. We can go to WhatsApp > Settings > Wallpaper and choose our desired image.
When will it officially be released?
