Ja Morant is currently facing a ban of 25 games due to an inappropriate activity. Towards the end of the last season, Ja Morant was suspended for eight games in March after a firearm-related incident in a Denver nightclub. He went to counseling but still got caught doing the same thing once again and, this time got banned for a longer period.

Memphis Grizzlies missing their star player Morant was a big concern for the fans. There were assumptions that the Grizzlies might face problems in ball handling and in getting consistent points since Ja Morant is the one who has mastered that. Well, the Grizzlies showed great resilience and have played quite well in the whole season. Though the results could have been way above if Ja had been there, unfortunately, it did not happen.

Out of the 25 games, 21 have already passed, and only 4 are left. There was some doubt on Ja’s return in the league as he has been going through a lot. Ja gave a hint of his return via Twitter, where he expressed his excitement for the 19 December game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Earlier, Ja apologized for his actions and said sorry to his fans, sponsor, and everybody for his inappropriate activity.

To the kids who look up to me, I’m sorry for failing you as a role model. I promise I’m going to be better. To all of my sponsors, I’m going to be a better representation of our brands. And to all of my fans, I’m going to make it up to you, I promise.” Ja Morant said
Fans are too excited to see him back on the court; it will be interesting to see how he plays the first game. The upcoming games are crucial for the Memphis Grizzlies, and the return of Morant at this time is going to provide great confidence to the entire roster.
