The much-awaited and critically acclaimed sequel God of War Ragnarok, was finally made available to fans on PlayStation 5 and 4 users just a few months ago.
Ragnarok was initially supposed to be released in 2021. However, it was postponed due to COVID and issues with the game’s voice actors.

With God of War Ragnarok’s release on November 9, 2022, the game is finally here after numerous delays. Who can play the game, exactly, is the current question? Although it is well established that God of War is primarily a PlayStation-exclusive franchise, some people are unsure whether PS Plus subscribers will be included in that exclusivity.
God of War Ragnarok and it’s PS Plus release
As of right now, God of War Ragnarok’s more extended demo is available to PS Plus subscribers, but the entire game can not be played without paying the full price. GOW Ragnarok might eventually be made accessible on PS Plus, but based on the success that the game is riding on, that is still at least a couple of years away. It is worth mentioning here that the God of War III was formerly a free PlayStation Plus game before moving to the Premium Tier of the program.
We’re incredibly humbled that #GodofWarRagnarok has officially sold through 11 million copies!
None of this would be possible without the support of our fans, so thank you for coming on this journey with us! pic.twitter.com/7KlAT9eddG
