Netflix’s ‘The Night Agent’: Filming Locations Revealed
Netflix’s new political thriller series, The Night Agent, adapted from Matthew Quirk’s 2019 novel, follows FBI agent Peter Sutherland (played by Gabriel Basso) and cybersecurity expert Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) as they try to expose a mole inside the U.S. Government. The show, which premiered on March 23, is currently the top trending show on Netflix, and though much of the show is set in Washington D.C., only some of the exteriors were shot there.
Where Was The Night Agent Filmed?
The Night Agent was filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Several of the show’s filming locations include:
- Downtown Vancouver
- The University of British Columbia campus

That also means those scenic shots of the woods told to look like Camp David, the President’s retreat in Frederick County, Maryland, were filmed up north Vancouver, too.

The Night Agent on Netflix
