Cersei Lannister has proved herself to be one of the most badass but not in a good way, character in Game of Thrones. Though many people have claimed that she has done everything to protect herself and her family, many people believe otherwise. When she lied to Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen about sending her troops to fight in the North, she became the ultimate villain.

Now that the Battle of Winterfell is over, a face off between Cersei Lannister and the North remains unseen. There are two possibilities that might take place, now that there is a second battle coming. Either Cersei will manage to defend the throne or someone will eventually kill her. And over the seasons, she has made quite a couple of enemies who will willingly put a sword through her chest.
So, let’s take a look at the characters who are most likely to be the doom of Cersei Lannister.
Sansa Stark/Jon Snow
Even though they are not the most likely characters to kill Cersei, anything can happen at this point. Cersei has tortured Sansa a lot during her days in King’s Landing. So, she does have a solid motive to kill her. So, if they manage to capture Cersei alive and get her tried for all her crimes, she will be executed. And who better to do it than the Lady of Winterfell or the King in the North.
Tyrion Lannister
Well, Tyrion and Cersei have always had a troubled relationship. So troubled that, Cersei even manipulated evidence to hold Tyrion accountable for Joffrey’s murder. There might not be a combat or a physical fight between them, but there are other ways too. He could fulfill the prophecy literally by choking the life out of her. Or he could use his favourite weapon, the crossbow!
Daenerys Targaryen
Dany is likely to be furious about Cersei Lannister not sending her troops and betraying their trust. Also, since Cersei is already on the Iron Throne, she automatically becomes Dany’s enemy. So, she might burn Cersei if given the chance.
Arya Stark
Well, isn’t this such an obvious option. She had her hero moment when he finally stabbed the Night King with the Valyrian Steel dagger and finished him. So, it is unlikely that Arya will be the one to finish both the antagonists of the show. But, it would be fitting if she did. Cersei Lannister has been on her kill list ever since Ned Stark was beheaded.
Will Jaime Lannister kill his sister/lover, Cersei Lannister?
Jaime has been the first choice to fulfill this deed ever since he distanced away from his sister. Their incestuous relationship has always been a matter of controversy on and off the screen. Since the past couple of seasons, Jaime has not been Cersei’s best ally. We saw one of the first hints when he killed Olenna Tyrell with poison to ease his death. (Cersei’s wanted her head).
He also betrayed her when he saved Tyrion from getting hanged and had a secret meeting with him in the dungeons. And last but not the least, he outrightly went against her when she revealed to him that she won’t send her troops to the North.
Also, referring to the Valonqar prophecy, Jaime could be the most likely one to kill Cersei, choking her with his fake hand. It would also serve as poetic justice since he killed the Mad King once. And now, it’s time for him to slay the ‘Mad Queen’.
