Who Is Captain Kerry Titheradge?
Captain Kerry Titheradge was born in December 1975 in Townsville, Australia. He grew up in Brisbane and attended various schools in Emerald, Longreach, Buderim, Capella and Townsville as part of his education. Prior to discovering his love for yachting, Titheradge worked as an electrician and technician. Early in the 1990s, he began his career as a deckhand and worked his way up to captain. Kerry was raised by a mother who was a hairdresser and a father who worked in construction in Brisbane, Australia. The family relocated from city to city till he became 18 because of his father’s work.
While working low-paying jobs since he was sixteen, Kerry discovered his true passion as a deckhand on a parasailing boat. Ever since, he has become an unstoppable force in the marine business, having gained nearly thirty years of expertise.
In addition to serving as the captain of the yacht Mercury, Kerry Titheradge is the CEO and proprietor of Yachting Concepts. The company offers boat services such as captain services, crew services, and yacht delivery and management. Kerry’s hobbies include “motorbiking, e-foil, and snowboarding” in addition to his job. He also likes to drive sports vehicles and go paragliding. Kerry is learning “Turkish” in addition to his boat duties and “flying lessons.”
Captain Kerry Titheradge And Below Deck Adventure
In the inaugural season of Below Deck, a reality show that follows the lives of crew members who work and live aboard superyachts during charter season, Captain Kerry Titheradge made his television debut in 2013. For the second season, he came back as the show’s captain, taking over for Captain Lee Rosbach, who was forced to depart owing to health concerns.
Season 1 of Below Deck Adventure aired on November 1, 2022. Following Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and Below Deck Down Under, the programme is the fourth Below Deck spin-off. The performance takes place both aboard and off the opulent vessel “Mercury,” which sails through Norway’s Fjords.
Expanding upon the theme of the earlier performances, this rendition of the play includes off-ship pursuits like paragliding, cycling, and rock climbing that are undertaken by the crew and guests of the yacht. Captain Kerry Titheradge was once married to Jennifer Lynne, also known as Jen Adams. They share two children, a son and a daughter. Unfortunately, their marriage ended in divorce in 2019. After his divorce, Captain Kerry embarked on a new relationship with his Turkish girlfriend, Ghönül Bihan who was a chief stew on Below Deck Adventure.
