Who is Chris Rickett?
Chris Rickett is an actor and voice-over artist who is a member of SAG-AFTRA. He is originally from the Catskill Mountains in NY and spent nearly ten years in Chicago before moving to LA. Chris earned his MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University and is represented by DPN for theatrical work and AVO for voiceovers.
Chris Rickett originates from Stamford, N.Y., a small town nestled in the Catskills. His childhood home was shared with his Italian American grandparents, who were the first generation of their family to live in America.
Growing up in their presence exposed Chris to a world vastly different from his own, one that had been shaped by unique experiences and challenges. This sparked his fascination with the past, leading him to devour any films or books that centered around history.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from The University at Albany and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul, Chris has resided and pursued his career in Los Angeles since 2017. However, he still considers Chicago to be his creative base.

The first show that Chris Rickett saw at TimeLine, To Master The Art, captivated him with its storytelling and portrayal of relationships.
Seeing a show at TimeLine is such an intimate experience. I left the production buzzing. I’d followed TimeLine for years and the second I finally saw their work, I was hooked.
Chris holds the position of Associate Artist at TimeLine, where he has been involved in productions such as Spill, A Raisin In The Sun, and the first Chicago showing of Chimerica.
The ability to work with a super talented, giving, and supportive group of artists, who care about history and how it reflects the issues of today, is inspiring.
Some of his other Chicago theatre appearances include Monster and This Is Modern Art at Steppenwolf. He has also performed with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Next Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Redtwist Theatre, and The Neo-Futurists. In addition, he has acted in multiple productions with the Saratoga Shakespeare Company in other regions.
