Deborah Lin And James Gandolfini
Throughout the course of his more than three-decade career, the late Gandolfini made several appearances in TV series and films. Bobby Dougherty in ‘Crimson Tide’ (1995), enforcer and stuntman Bear in ‘Get Shorty’ (1995), Mayor of New York in ‘The Taking of Pelham 123’ (2009), and impulsive “Wild Thing” Carol in ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ (2009).
The two got together in 2006 while James was filming a movie in Los Angeles and Lin was a model. They began dating and eventually got engaged in 2007. The couple, who had been together for two years, exchanged vows on August 30, 2008. On October 10, 2012, Liliane, their daughter, was born. However, this was Gandolfini’s second marriage, as he was previously married to Marcy Wudarski, a film producer. The pair divorced in December 2002 and shared a son, Michael Gandolfini.
Gandolfini was in Rome with his family in June 2013. He was slated to receive an award at the Taormina Film Fest in Sicily. After spending a scorching day seeing the city, the family returned to the Boscolo Exedra Hotel on June 19.
Michael found his father unconscious on the lavatory floor at roughly ten o’clock at night. He then made a call to reception, who put him in touch with emergency paramedics. After being brought to the hospital, Gandolfini was declared dead. His death was determined to be the result of a heart attack following an autopsy. On June 23, his body was returned to the United States. His funeral service took place four days later. Gandolfini requested that his corpse be cremated and that his family receive the ashes.

Liliane and Michael each received 50% of a property in Manhattan and land in Italy. In addition, Gandolfini put $500,000 aside for each of his two nieces.
