Dylan Mortensen And Idaho Killings
Four roommates from Moscow, Idaho’s 1122 King Road House were discovered dead on the second and third floors on the evening of November 13, 2022. When the crime was reported to the police, it was found out that there were not four but six people there on the night of the incident.
They were all University of Idaho students. Madison Mogen, Dylan Mortensen, Bethany Funke, Xane Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, and Ethan Chapen were among them. Out of them, two survived and the first four were dead.
Police discovered after conducting additional investigation that the four kids had been viciously stabbed to death. On December 30, 2022, 1.5 months after the murder, an arrest was made in response to Dylan’s statement.
After killing the four pupils, Bryan Christopher Kohberger was taken into custody in Pennsylvania. It was discovered that he had made numerous visits to the crime scene before committing the murder after looking through his phone records. The murder weapon also had his DNA. Affidavit Regarding Idaho Murder Case
According to the affidavit, which became public on January 5, 2023, Mortensen saw the murderer. However, according to the police webpage on the case, hours passed before 911 was called, at 11:58 a.m. According to the affidavit, Mortensen locked her bedroom door after freezing.
According to the police website, on November 13, 2022, Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, and Madison Mogen were fatally murdered in their off-campus rented house. Kohberger is charged in the police affidavit with 12 counts of stalking the students’ house and leaving a knife sheath containing DNA. There is no motive mentioned in the affidavit.
The affidavit does not include Bethany Funke, the other surviving flatmate, as much as it does Mortensen. According to earlier press reports from the police, neither Mortensen nor Funke were attacked.
