Uber Trujillo is among the four sons of the notorious Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco. He, along with his brothers, was an active participant in his mother’s illegal dealings from a tender age. However, unlike his siblings, he disappeared entirely following his mother’s demise.

Who was Uber Trujillo?
Uber Trujillo gained notoriety as the offspring of Griselda Blanco. He came into the world in 1971 as the child of Darío Sepúlveda, his mother’s second spouse. Growing up in extreme destitution, he was introduced to his mother’s illegal pursuits at a young age.
According to reports, Uber was introduced to his mother’s drug business at a young age. He was raised alongside his three brothers: Dixon, Osvaldo, and Michael. It is worth noting that none of them share the same father. Like most kids, Uber and his brothers attended elementary school when they reached the appropriate age.
Once their parents started profiting from the trade, they left school to gain knowledge of the industry. They soon became the central figure in the drug trade that spanned numerous states in the US.
Parents & Siblings
During the 1970s and 1980s, Uber Trujillo’s mother, Griselda, was a well-known dealer of illicit drugs in several large states in the US. Despite being married three times, she bore four sons from these relationships.
At the tender age of 19, Black Widow – a nickname she was fondly known by – tied the knot with Carlos Trujillo. In 1969, she welcomed her son Dixon into the world. However, this union was short-lived as the couple parted ways, and she went on to wed Darío Sepúlveda.
In 1971, Uber Trujillo was born to Darío Sepúlveda and Griselda, who had already raised two sons in difficult circumstances and had introduced them to the world of drug trafficking, which they eventually became involved in.
In 1975 and 1978, Griselda and Alberto Bravo’s third and fourth sons, Osvaldo and Michael Corleone, were born. While some of the sons were raised in their mother’s criminal world, others were protected from it. Nonetheless, they all eventually became involved in the drug trade.
Uber Trujillo Mother’s Cause of Death
Uber Trujillo‘s mother, Griselda Blanco, was heavily involved in the drug trade in the United States, but it was a tumultuous journey. She faced frequent incarcerations and was most recently apprehended on February 18th, 1985 at her home in Irvine. She was denied bail and remained in custody.
After being arraigned in court, Blanco was convicted for her role in the illegal drug trade. She received a 15-year prison sentence but was released after serving 10 years. In 1994, she was arrested once again and admitted to committing three murders in Miami.
Blanco was convicted and given a ten-year prison sentence for her offenses. Despite this, her sons managed to maintain her business. In 2004, Blanco was released and deported to Colombia. However, on September 3rd, 2012, at 69 years old, Trujillo’s mother was fatally shot. The motive and perpetrator behind the attack remain unknown.
After Griselda passed away in 2012, her three sons- Uber, Dix, and Osvaldo were all killed as a result of their involvement in the drug trade. The newspaper reported,
“Blanco’s three other sons were all murdered, purportedly in retribution for carnage she herself caused.”
Uber Trujillo’s only surviving family member was his younger brother, Michael Corleone Blanco. In 2019, Michael and his spouse, Marie, were featured in the VH1 reality show Cartel Crew, which documented the lives of descendants of cartel leaders.
On the show, Michael shared that he had survived two attempts on his life. The series was on air for three seasons before being discontinued.
