Jay North tied the knot on three separate occasions. In January 1972, he crossed paths with his first spouse, Kathleen Brucher, while they were both involved in the play “Butterflies Are Free.”
After touring with the show for a year, they exchanged vows in Los Angeles in July 1973. Sadly, their union did not endure and they parted ways in April 1974, eventually finalizing their divorce in October of the same year.
In March 1991, North tied the knot with his second spouse, Rosita, whom he had met on a blind date. Unfortunately, their marriage only lasted three months before they went their separate ways.
Shortly after, he crossed paths with Cindy Hackney at a charitable function. They began dating and exchanged vows in March 1993.
After just three months, North decided to relocate from Los Angeles to Hackney’s hometown of Lake Butler, Florida. In addition to becoming a husband, he also took on the role of stepfather to Hackney’s three daughters. In Lake Butler, he started a new job as a correctional officer.
