Olivia Paige Dunne was born on October 1, 2002, in Westwood, New Jersey, and spent her childhood in Hillsdale, New Jersey. She began her gymnastics journey in 2005 at ENA Gymnastics, located in Paramus, New Jersey.
By the age of 14, Dunne was being homeschooled by her mother, utilizing the Abeka Academy curriculum, while dedicating her time to training under coach Craig Zappa at ENA Gymnastics.
Career
Livvy Dunne became a senior gymnast in 2018. Even though the United States did not send a team, she represented her club at the 2018 City of Jesolo Trophy, finishing in 15th place in the all-around category.
Due to an ankle injury, she only competed on the uneven bars at the 2018 U.S. Classic. She qualified for the National Championships through a petition and concluded the event in 18th place in the all-around standings.
In 2020, Livvy enrolled at Louisiana State University and began her journey with the gymnastics team in the NCAA.
She made her competitive debut at the U.S. Classic in 2014, where she finished 20th on the floor, 33rd in the all-around, 35th on bars, 36th on vault, and 39th on beam. Unfortunately, she did not qualify for the National Championships.
The subsequent year, she participated in the American Classic, achieving 6th place on the floor, 8th in the all-around, 9th on beam, 15th on bars, and 18th on vault.
She then returned to the U.S. Classic, securing 12th place on the floor, 14th on beam, 24th in the all-around, 13th on bars, and 34th on vault.
Livvy Dunne made her debut at the National Championships, where she secured 21st place on the floor, 23rd on both bars and beam, 25th in the all-around, and 27th on vault.
