Manheim grew up in Venice, Los Angeles, California, where he was born. His mother is actress Camryn Manheim and his father is former model Jeffrey Brezovar.
He is of Jewish heritage and had his bar mitzvah at the Sholem Community, a secular Jewish Sunday school in Los Angeles, where he discussed the theme of “Activism at Any Age”. In addition to guitar, drums, piano, and ukulele, Manheim also plays various wind instruments.

At the young age of six, Milo Manheim embarked on his acting journey in a Culver City after-school program. From 2008 onwards, he has taken on leading roles in 20 musicals produced by Liza Monjauze.
In 2009, he made a brief appearance with his mother on the CBS show Ghost Whisperer. Then, in 2017, he was awarded “Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role” at the 2017 New York Musical Theatre Festival for his part in the production “Generation Me”.
