MrBeast (24yo age) is an American content creator known for his goofy family-friendly YouTube videos. MrBeast is credited with being the first to start the expensive stunts video genre on YouTube, and his YouTube channel now sits at 126 million subscribers.
Born as Jimmy Donaldson on 7th May 1998, MrBeast started his YouTube channel at the young age of 13. MrBeast’s first YouTube channel was beast5ty and began on 20th February 2012. His initial videos were mainly him playing Call Of Duty and interacting with his audience.
He gained a few subscribers by joining the sub4sub group. A group where creators subscribe to a channel in exchange for a subscription back. He did this for three weeks straight. Not giving up after the failure of his first channel, MrBeast started another YouTube channel by the name of That-Dude and later changed it to MrBeast6000. He started uploading gaming videos of Minecraft and pokemon for a year and a half, gaining a steady increase in subscribers and views. After gaining 10,000 subscribers, Jimmy changed his YouTube name from MrBeast6000 to just MrBeast. He started uploading random videos, gaining more views and subscriptions. MrBeast started making more videos with insane challenges, including “Watching every day bro for 10h straight”. The content later evolved into MrBeast making videos of giving his sponsorship money to homeless people. This video gained over 2Million views in two months.
Seeing the success of such videos, MrBeast started making more and more philanthropic videos of giving away money to homeless people, unknown Twitch streamers, uber drivers, and delivery people, which started gaining more subscribers and views. As his channel grew, MrBeast started incorporating his friends into his videos. On 8th April 2020, the MrBeast Gaming channel was made. This channel made 10M subscribers in just 6 months and inspired him to make channels for different languages, including Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese.
