Who is Sasha Fox?
Sasha Fox is the youngest daughter of singer-turned-actress Vanessa L. Williams. Having parents like Vanessa L. Williams and Rick Fox meant she was inevitably going to join the entertainment industry.
Sasha Gabriella Fox was born on May 1, 2000, in N.Y.C. She graduated from The Harvey School, a private college prep school in Westchester County, New York in 2018.
Upon her graduation, Sasha received a Facebook post from her father expressing his pride in her. He also announced that she would be attending Chapman University in Orange, California for college.
Career
Following in her parents’ footsteps, Sasha Fox has chosen a path in the entertainment industry. In 2013, she wrote and directed the short film Superdate, which earned her the prestigious honor of best youth film at the San Francisco Black Film Festival.
When Sasha was just a baby, she made her acting debut in the movie “A Diva Xmas Carol” in 2000, alongside her mother Vanessa. Similarly, when she was 12 years old in 2012, she appeared in an episode of the reality TV show “Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez.”
She played the character of Crystal Robertson in the episode titled “Mom’s Gift is sister’s Gift/The Chain Gang,” which was broadcast on October 2, 2012.
In November 2019, Sasha joined her father, Rick Fox, in the Oprah Winfrey Network’s inaugural production, “One Fine Christmas.” The film centers on three troubled families who are too caught up in their own lives to appreciate the importance of the holiday season.
Sasha Fox played the role of Haley, the daughter of a career-driven mother named Susan (played by Vanessa Williams), who should not be mistaken for her real-life mother.
In addition to her other endeavors, Sasha is actively pursuing a modeling career. She has experience working with various brands such as American Eagle and Left on Friday, a swimwear brand. Furthermore, Sasha maintains a personal Instagram page specifically to showcase her photography skills.
In July 2022, it was announced on Instagram by Williams’ youngest daughter that filming had concluded on a project featuring Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter, The Half of It’s Leah Lewis, and model Ashley Moore.
Family
Until the age of 4, Sasha Fox lived in LA with her parents. However, after their divorce in 2004, she found it difficult to constantly switch between her parents’ homes.
Before marrying Rick, Vanessa had previously been married to Ramon Hervey. She has two half-sisters, Jillian and Melanie Hervey, and a half-brother, Devin Hervey, from that marriage. Following her divorce, Williams wed Jim Skrip in 2015, her third marriage.
From Sasha’s posts, it is evident that she has a strong relationship with her siblings. In June 2019, Sasha and her family came together to celebrate her sister Jillian Harvey’s birthday.
