The most well-known neck in the country is back in jail.
Charles “Wide Neck” McDowell first became famous on the internet in 2018 when a mugshot of his famously wide swivel went viral. Now that he was caught over the weekend, he has a chance to do it all over again.
McDowell, 35, was booked into the Escambia County Jail on charges of stalking and not paying child support. He has 1 million followers on Instagram.
According to KCBY, an arrest warrant was issued for him in August after he went to a woman’s house and sent her threatening messages.
McDowell became well-known after he was arrested again on a long list of charges, including running away from police and drug crimes.
After his mugshot went viral, things started to look up for the anatomical wonder.
He joined a rap group with other online semi-celebrities and made a video with “Daddy Long Neck,” a younger, skinnier man with a very long neck who was also an anatomical oddity.
“Neckst Big Thing,” which came out in 2020, has been watched 5.8 million times on YouTube.
Police records show that McDowell is being held without a bond.
