A group of monkeys has invaded and begun attacking people left and right in a town in Japan, trying to steal babies and young children.
The officials don’t know what’s causing the outbreak of monkey aggression but are trying to find a solution.

Children and babies are being targeted by bands of wild Japanese macaques, who are hanging around preschools to try and grab them.
The attacks began on July 8.
The monkeys have bitten and clawed at people and tried to snatch babies. 58 people have been involved in various attacks and some of them need to go to the hospital for treatment.
They are trying to get things under control.
Traditional traps aren’t working because the monkeys don’t seem to be interested in food. They hired a special unit to hunt down the monkeys with tranquilizers.
