Many people questioned the show’s existence without Roiland, who not only created the show but also voiced Rick and Morty both. Despite assurance from Adult Swim that their team is capable of handling it, fans don’t seem convinced.
Will Rick and Morty Season 7 be the last one in the series?
Due to the allegations, some are even suspecting that Season 7 would be the last of Rick and Morty. In Season 6, Rick revealed a part of his lab to Morty, with the screens showing his progress in hunting down Rick Prime, the one who killed his family.
There were hints that Season 7 will cover the chase of Rick’s nemesis. There is no official announcement that Season 7 will be the final season. But Season 6 ended in such a manner that it indicates Season 7 to be the last.
What to expect in Rick and Morty Season 7?
The ultimate big evil Rick Prime was teased back in Season 3 of Rick and Morty. In the Season 5 finale, fans also got to know more about Rick Prime when Morty got to know about Rick’s back story. Fans finally got to see Rick Prime in Season 6, Episode 1.
We are not aware of the deal between Adult Swim and Roiland. But Season 6 paved the path for the show’s finale season. Even though the plot for Season 7 has not been revealed yet, it will certainly be about unraveling the mystery of Rick Prime.
