No official confirmation
The channel is yet to confirm if the show will return for a second run. The broadcaster will announce once the ratings of the show have been assessed along with the reception.
Jim Howick, who plays Ghost Pat, was asked if there will be another series, and he replied that he does not know. He also added that he would be surprised if the show is not renewed, because of the phenomenal response they’ve gotten from the audience. He revealed that he could not say anything for sure, but he is hopeful.
May return in 2020
If the show does return for a second run, fans should not expect it to come out before spring of 2020. The episode number will remain the same, that is 6 half-hour episodes which the audience can watch every week.
The cast and crew will remain the same too, and there is no reason to expect any major changes in the second season. The DVD for the first season will be available from 27th May on Amazon.
