Fans saw an emotional climax when Wolverine’s story was wrapped up in ‘Logan’ previous year and they are going to remember it for a long time.
But Hugh Jackman has created a spur among the fans after leaving a hint that the regenerative anti-hero may return. It seems that there is a lot more to the quick-healing mutant than we have already seen. Jackman discussed about Wolverine’s return during the Sunday Today’s episode with Willie Geist, the host.
The Australian actor said with surprising confidence,
Oh, Wolverine will be back. Someone’s going to buy him, I don’t know.
Jackman was asked by Geist about Wolverine and Deadpool collaboration to which he replied that maybe the world is not ready for it yet, throwing away all hope of the collaboration. But maybe his fans have a different opinion. Many people have shown wild enthusiasm for the collaboration of Wolverine and Deadpool.
One of the fans even declared that there is no question about it, the world definitely wants it. A fan even commented that most of them would even sell their first born for buying a ticket of Deadpool and Wolverine crossover.
Reynolds has spoken about the unrequited desire for resurrecting Wolverine many times. He said,
I think convincing Hugh of that would be a near-impossible feat, but there’s no human being I love more than Hugh Jackman in that universe, and equally so as a friend. He’s just the best.
Reynolds is a huge fan of Hugh and he already misses him as Logan. He can watch him endless times. However, Jackman is quite stubborn about his decision and he is not going to change it. Jerry Seinfeld’s opinion influenced him and he is not picking up his claws again.
After watching Hugh Jackman as Wolverine all this while, it would be difficult to imagine someone else take his place.
