A woman was shocked when her fake Halloween face tattoo wouldn’t come off.
Elizabeth Rose, whose TikTok handle is (somewhat ironically) @alliwanttodoismile, posted a video of herself trying to wash off her scary fake teeth and scar-painted tattoo.
“Put a tattoo sticker on, join in a bit of Halloween, you know? Put some on my granddaughter as well, she’s seven, and my daughter rings up going ‘how does it come off?’ …Well, it couldn’t be that difficult, surely?” Elizabeth says in the video.
The 46-year-old can then be seen trying to get the temporary tattoos off her cheek, lip, and forehead with a silicone face scrubber.
But the look of a crazy clown wouldn’t go away. This made Elizabeth mad, and she said, “f*** sake, I have meetings tomorrow”.
As of now, the video had 1.4 million views and 54.2K likes. Many viewers made fun of TikToker’s situation and suggested ways to get rid of the tattoo.
One user wrote: “Baby oil or olive oil will remove it xx”
Another said: “Anything alcohol-based, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol.. or you could just drink it and forget all the tattoo.”
A third commented: “Use micellar water. I have had the same problem tonight with my son.”
A fourth person joked: “looks brilliant, I’m sure the people at your meeting will see the funny side.”
In a follow-up video, Elizabeth said that she was able to remove the tattoo before going to work by using a little micellar water, but that it made her face red.
She also made a second video after getting a second tattoo on her face, so she could try out some of the suggestions people left under her first video for how to get rid of it.
She said that vodka, antibacterial gel, tape, olive oil, and nail polish remover could help, but she started by wrapping a parcel of tape around her hand and patting it on her cheek. Surprisingly, the sticker almost turned out just right.
“What the f***, shut the front door!” she said in shock. “Do you know what I don’t think I can be bothered to try the nail varnish remover, anti-bac or olive oil. I might as well drink the vodka and be done with it.”
