A woman who made news after marrying a rag doll has stated that she is now ‘pregnant’ with their second child and hopes that this will salvage their marriage after her spouse cheated on her.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes of Brazil has gone viral several times in recent years after describing her whirlwind relationship with an inanimate object.
The 37-year-old was overjoyed to reveal that she and her rag doll spouse are expecting another child, showing off a pregnancy test on TikTok that appears to be positive.
The video has over 369,000 views, with the couple expressing they are thrilled and hope for a daughter this time.
The couple already had a son, whom they welcomed last year after marrying in order to avoid having the child out of wedlock. A total of 250 people attended their wedding ceremony.
‘I’m very happy because I’m pregnant with Marcelo again,’ Meirivone said. ‘This time we’re going to have a girl.
‘We really wanted to get pregnant again, Marcelo kept asking when we’re going to get another baby, and I said one day.
‘There were a couple times I felt nauseous, so I would take a test, but they were negative.
‘However, I recently started to get nauseous again, so bought a test from the local pharmacy and it was positive!
‘We are so happy. We would love to have a little princess.
‘We already have a boy, but if the baby turns out to be one too, we will love them just the same.’
After experiencing relationship difficulties in the past, the couple is optimistic that having another child will enhance their marital bond.
‘Since discovering out he cheated on me, we’ve been quite distant,’ she explained.
‘We still live in the same house but it isn’t the same. But now, because of the baby, things are different.
‘Marcelo has been much more affectionate with me and I believe that this will improve our relationship. This new baby will save our marriage.’
Meirivone met her beau after moaning to her mother about being unmarried and having no one with whom to dance.
Her mother then constructed Marcelo, the rag doll, and the pair fell in love at first sight, embarking on a whirlwind relationship.
Meirivone can be seen leaping up and down for joy in her TikTok video, flashing the positive test to the camera.
The video has received over 24,000 likes and thousands of comments.
