If you are going to break the rules, at least do it right.
A woman on TikTok named Heleni is going viral because she tried out a “hack” she found on the app. The hack says that if you wear an “inappropriate” top to Disney World, the park will give you a free T-shirt.
Since it was posted on October 17, the video has been seen 6.4 million times. It starts with Heleni in the parking lot, taking off her cropped black tank top to reveal a tiny triangle-string bikini top.
“Trying the TikTok hack for a free shirt at Disney World Orlando,” she wrote on the clip, before making her way to the entrance gate.
Cast members, who work at the park, stopped her, which made her happy, but Heleni said they “forced” her to buy a shirt to cover up.
“Debunked!” she declared the “hack.”
According to the park’s Frequently Asked Questions about what to wear for a day at Disney, you could be turned away if you’re wearing “clothing that, by its nature, exposes too much skin that may be seen as inappropriate for a family environment.”
Heleni’s post got a lot of comments, and many of them said that the park used to give free souvenirs to people who broke the rules, but stopped when word of it spread on TikTok.
“Cast member here. Doesn’t work anymore. It got too popular online and everyone was doing it,” an alleged Disney worker commented.
But some people said that Heleni didn’t do it right.
“You have to be inside the park not outside,” another commenter advised.
“My dumbass,” Heleni replied.
The Post has asked Heleni and Disney what they think about it.
People who go to Disney have come up with all kinds of ways to save money at the park lately. Last month, a “shameless” woman went viral after she disguised a child in elementary school as a baby to get into an Orlando park without paying the sky-high prices.
