Willy Wonka returns as Warner Bros. Pictures released the official trailer for Wonka starring Timothee Chalamet in the lead role. The movie is based on Roald Dahl’s character from his famous book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The book was adapted for a movie in 2005 which starred Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka.

The trailer for Wonka was released on July 11, 2023, which showcases Timothee Chalamet portraying the character of Willy Wonka in the movie. We also see other huge actors as part of the movie such as Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Coleman, and Hugh Grant which is certainly exciting. While the trailer is promising and seems like a light-hearted story of the chocolate maker’s ‘chocolaty’ adventures, fans couldn’t help but compare Chalamet to Johny Depp’s portrayal of the character.
