The world’s tallest dog Freddy got some overwhelming news on his birthday. When the gigantic Freddy stands on his back legs, he is more than 7ft. A few days back on May 17 Freddy turned 8 years and became the oldest living great dane in the world.
Freddy and Fleur had a great birthday party and they both had the best time. We decorated the garden and they got loads of their favorite treats and cuddly toys.
Stoneman tells Caters.
Claire Stoneman from Weeting threw a huge party on his 8th birthday. Freddy’s sister Fleur was also there.
Erin has never known life without Freddy. She isn’t [fazed] by his height at all and has always been close to him.
Erin’s dad, Peter, tells Caters.
Freddy is Gigantic
Before the lockdown, because of coronavirus, Erin used to visit Freddy twice a week. It is almost 210 pounds. She even gives a phone call to Freddy before sleeping. As a reaction, Freddy would mumble back something when he recognizes Erin on phone.
He’s so big that he towers over her. She cuddles up to him on the settee to watch television and he just towers over her, but they have a very sweet relationship.
Erin’s dad says.
The Great Danes go on a walk early morning with her owner Stoneman to avoid a large crowd.
Everyone is always shocked by their size and some people are intimidated, they say it’s like I’m walking a horse down the street.
she says.
Despite their size, they’re very kind-natured and put their paws on you if they know you’re upset. They love cuddling and I sleep with them on two mattresses in the living room at night,
Stoneman says.
According to Guinness World Records, it has been confirmed that Freddy is the oldest Great Dane they have on record and Stoneman is looking forward to applying it officially.
Stoneman’s Great Dane has a very huge appetite as his size.
His food consists of roast chicken, kibble, minced beef and lots of treats. The allover cost is over $630 a month.
