WWE is trying to shake things up by appointing Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman at the top of the creative food chains on SmackDown and Raw respectively. While fans noticed a visible change on the way Monday Night Raw looks and feels like, SmackDown was a bit of a bummer as there were no major differences here.

THE AD BREAKS!
WWE SmackDown under Eric Bischoff was highly anticipated to finally get rid of the new rule where there is no wrestling between ad breaks. This is causing many matches to go short – or get restarted time and again. This did not change and was a huge let down.
SHANE MCMAHON
Shane McMahon continues to be the centerpiece of the show, which is one of the biggest displeasures that the fans have expressed with SmackDown in 2019.
SAME OLD STORYLINES
Storylines continued to feel the same, apart from that one bit where Kofi flipped Samoa Joe uncensored on live TV. SmackDown under Eric Bischoff needs drastic changes – and it needs them NOW!
NO WOW FACTOR
Like how Raw opened with a ‘wow’ moment where Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman crashed through the stage and caused a power outage, SmackDown had no such visual impact and went on like any other week.
TOO MUCH RAW RECAP
Erich Bischoff’s SmackDown seemed like one giant Raw Recap as most of the Raw stories just moved forward into SmackDown and had the fans wondering as to what their motivation to tune in to SmackDown is!
